Top Croatian talent Luka Lukanic signs a two-season contract with KRC Genk, with an option for two additional seasons. The young defensive midfielder went through the youth series in his homeland at the internationally acclaimed academy of Dinamo Zagreb. Last season, the left-winger was loaned to Zrinjski Mostar, which plays in the highest division in Bosnia and Herzegovina. There, he accounted for 2 goals and 3 assists in 10 matches.

Lukanic initially started preparation with the A-core under the watchful eye of Thorsten Fink. In the short term, he will join Jong Genk where he will finish his matches next season.
