Representatives of Belgian professional football blew gatherings in Diegem on Tuesday afternoon for the annual calendar presentation of the Belgian professional leagues. Just like last season, the Pro League is taking into account the complaints of clubs and supporters. Thus, next season, Sunday matches will also start at 19:15 at the latest and the calendar will only be updated on four occasions so that clubs and supporters can plan matches in time in their diaries.
League opener at home against Standard
In Diegem, the first five playing days were announced. On Sunday 28 July, the troops of our new coach Thorsten Fink will open the 2024-2025 season at home against Standard. On Tuesday 3 September, when the preliminary rounds of European football are behind us, the calendar will be announced until the winter break. Then, on Tuesday 10 December, the calendar up to the end of the regular league will be presented. Finally, after the regular league, based on the standings, the calendar of the Play-offs will be revealed.

Jong Genk opens on loan at RFC Seraing
The first four matches of the Challenger Pro League were also revealed in Diegem. Jong Genk will open the league on 16 August on loan at RFC Seraing.
